One reason I switched to substack was so that I wouldn’t be constantly creating content for Facebook to profit off of and use to bring about the apocalypse. And it worked! Or did it. In fact what happened was I stopped posting my every passing thought that I found humorous online, and thus, cut off my steady stream of dopamine hits when my friends found the comments humorous as well. The result was a lessening of my dopamine addiction, and a return to pre-Internet things like, reading books. Drawing pictures and generally staring off into space. But all that means I’ve let this blog wane a little, which one is NOT supposed to do if you want to be a social networking hero. But as Tina Turner once said, we don’t need another hero.
This writing about what is or is not ridiculous to write about and have us spend time reading makes me happy. 😁 I enjoyed my time spent reading it.
